The Venture Madness judges have deliberated and the verdict is in. It was no easy decision to select 64 finalists from the field of 119, as the quality of all applications was impressive. This is a true testament to the vibrant startup scene in the Southwest.

Now that the 64 have been chosen, the first official Venture Madness bracket has been seeded and voting is open on VentureMadness.com! Votes will help the judging panel to determine which 32 companies will advance to the second round. The public can vote once a day for their favorite startups until Friday, February 14 at 3:00 PM (MST). Round two will begin on Monday, February 17 and will determine which 16 companies advance.

Those remaining 16 companies will make their best pitches in front of a panel of judges and a live audience at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz. March 5 – 7. Tickets to the main event are still available for only $349. This price includes a 3-day conference pass with access to all live pitches, cocktail events, luncheons, a spring training game on a hosted patio, plenty of networking opportunities, and more!
