Madness, indeed.
Venture Madness is already living up to its name, with nearly 120 startups from five states across 26 different industries applying to compete in the inaugural event. Only 64 ventures will make the cut to be seeded in the first bracket, which will be announced on Jan. 30, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. MST. Follow the announcements live on Twitter using the hashtag #VM64.
Given the high quality of companies that applied, narrowing down from 119 to the first bracket of 64 will be no easy task, but the Venture Madness judges are up for the challenge.
The first round of online voting begins on Monday, February 3rd at VentureMadness.com and every vote counts in helping decided which startups advance to the next round and which get left standing. Your votes help your favorite startup win their share of a $50,000 cash prize, along with bragging rights and the title of Venture Madness Champion.
